FM Conveys messages from Al-Basher his Gabonese and Angolan counterparts

Khartoum, Nov.3 (SUNA) - Foreign Minister Dr. Derderri Mohammed Ahmed, on Friday, two messages from the President of the Republic to Gabonese President Ali Bongo and Congolese Denis Sassou Nguesso relating to the efforts of the President of the Republic in the framework of the African initiative for peace and reconciliation in the Central African Republic.
The FM met with Gabonese Prime Minister, Emmanuel Essozi on, Friday afternoon, where he handed him a message from the President of the Republic to President Ali Bongo.
Dr. Derderri met Congolese President Denis Sassou Nguesso, at his residence, in the Congolese town of Oyo.
The Foreign Minister briefed the Gabonese Prime Minister and the Congolese President on preparatory talks held by Khartoum with the opposition parties which agreed to engage in the peace talks.
He also informed them that Sudan discussed with the African Union, some African leaders and regional and international partners to move forward in its efforts to resolve the crisis.
 He appreciated the meeting held by the African leaders in New York on the sidelines of the recent General Assembly meeting swhich commended Sudan's efforts in this regard.
The Foreign Minister explained that Sudan will host the first meeting of these talks in Khartoum on 15 November.
The Minister conveyed to the President Al-Basher invitations to his Gabonese and Congolese counterparts to attend these important discussions.

 The Congolese president agreed to attend the Khartoum talks on 15 November.
