Muttaz Musa Inspect Bashayer Port for Oil Exports

Port-Sudan, Nov. (SUNA) – The National Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Muttaz Musa, has discussed the possibility of benefiting from the storage of petroleum products at Bashayer Port for oil exports, and means of adding some facilities in the port and qualifying them to receive imports of petroleum materials.

This came during his short visit to Port-Sudan, during which he was accompanied by the Minister of Electricity and Oil.

The visit included the depots of Port Sudan Oil Refinery, and the deck16 to receive medical gas imports.

The visit also included Al-Khair Port for oil derivatives where the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation inspected the evacuation of 43 thousand tons of gasoline and heard a briefing about the arrival of another 40 thousand tons in mid next week.

Musa also inspected work on the implementation of the project of the new Kalanayeb Thermal Power Station, southern of Port-Sudan, which is due be completed in April next year to produce 350 MW.
