Khartoum, June 22 (SUNA) - The UNESCO Office in Khartoum has developed a strategic plan for the implementation of training courses in the fields of technical and technological education, with an estimated funding of one hundred thousand dollars provided by the German Development Agency.
The funding for the components of the project, which began in January this year, aims to promote the media to change the stereotype in people's minds of the importance of vocational and technical education in Sudan, focusing on the states of Kassala and Gadarif, said Dr. Ayman Mohammed Babeker Badri, head of education, information and information sector at UNESCO office in Khartoum. .

Badri pointed out that there are other projects that will be implemented by the office to develop joint strategies to organize vocational, technical and technological training for 90 national experts and representatives of 50 bodies from the government, voluntary organizations and the private sector.
The UNESCO office in Khartoum, since 2014, has begun to review policies in the field of technical and technological training in collaboration with the different bodies in Sudan, adding that it aims to contribute to human and social development.
Technical and technological vocational education is one of the fundamental issues and common strategies within the national framework to benefit from the qualifications of graduates of educational institutions as well as opening up to the labor market.
