Khartoum, 8 Jan. (SUNA)- Sudan's ambassador to Cairo, Abdul Mohamud Abdul Halim, has underlined the importance of opening new horizons of cooperation and exchange of experience between the Sudan and Egypt in the medical domain.
He commended the role played by the Egyptian Agency for partnership for development which provided Sudanese doctors with training and rehabilitation opportunities.
The ambassador who was addressing the meeting of the committee of the Sudan Child Hospital for Cancer and the Egyptian Child Hospital for Cancer, underlined his support for the hospitals, commending the strategic line followed by the coordination committee between the two sides and the efforts exerted to cement cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Foreign Minister, Ahmed Fadil, has stressed that the coming period would see opening of new windows for the youth for more studies and development of cooperation between Cairo and Khartoum in the field of training and rehabilitation, saying Egyptian people and government would stand beside the cancer hospital in the Sudan.
Egyptian ambassador to the Sudan, Usama Shaltoot has in the meantime stressed that the doors for cooperation between the two sides would remain open and that his country is ready to cooperate with the Sudan in eh various domain.
