Khartoum, 10 Jan. (SUNA)- The Undersecretary at the Ministry of Health, Dr Isam Eddin Mohamed Abdallah, has launched the initiative of the Sudanese businessmen to help boost and develop the health sector in the Sudan.
The launching was made in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Union and members of the Union as well as members of the Sudanese Doctors Union
The initiative aims at its first stage to refurbish and rehabilitate the doctors' resident and the rest houses at a cost of one million pounds.
The Undersecretary has commended the initiative and said it would help improve and upgrade the health work environment and that this initiative would spur Sudanese public into contributing to improve the health sector in the country, expressing hope that such an initiative would cover all other sectors of the community in the Sudan
The deputy chairman of the businessmen union Jamal Suleiman Nasser Eddin said the union has taken this initiative and provided all the requirements for the refurbishment of the doctors' rest houses.
