Khartoum, 29 March (SUNA)- The First Lady, Widad Babikir, has commended the role played by the Sudanese businessmen in supporting and assisting in the charity and benevolent action in the country in a way that serves their local communities.
Widad express in a meeting with businessman Ashraf Kardinal, her appreciation for his donation to build one story in the hospital of the for breast and cervix cancer.
The construction of the hospital is spearheaded by the Sanad charity organization, within the efforts seeking to localize medical treatment.
She said this contribution reflect the attitude of the Sudanese businessmen towards their communities.
Kardinal has on his part said such a contribution was a responsibility and a duty wards the mothers who have given all for their communities.
Samia Mohamd Osman, the Executive Director of the charity organization, Sanad, said the hospital is being built within the Bashir medial town for treatment of cancerous diseases in Suba area, Khartoum, Sudan.
