Islamabad, Oct. 8 (SUNA) The Federal Minister of Health, the Head of the Health International Network for all Policies, Bahr Idris Abu-Garda, met in the Pakistani capital Islamabad, the Director General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tadros Adhoum.
The WHO General Director has congratulated the minister and Sudan's government on his election head of the Health International Network for all Policies, asserting that this election would contribute in speeding up the implementation of the comprehensive coverage with the health services on world level, and would assist in the realization of the goals of the sustainable development effectively through the health police in all policies.
The meeting has discussed aspects of cooperation between the WHO and the International Network.
Abu-Garda noted that the meeting comes for the enhancement and coordination of the network effort with the WHO for the service of the health action on world level.
The health international network for all policies includes in its general assembly 60 countries and organizations presided by the Sudan and six countries and organizations that form the network executive office, including the Sudan, Thailand, Australia, Finland, the WHO and the international center for health in Geneva.
