Khartoum, 3 Jan (SUNA)- The Minister for International Cooperation, Idris Suleiman, has described Sudan's relations with Saudi Arabia as brotherly and strategic.
The Minister has pointed out in statements following a meeting with the Saudi ambassador to Sudan, Ai Bin Hassan Gaafar, that the relations between the two countries are old and deep in history and that the "Security of Saudi Arabia is the security of the Sudan".
He said Saudi Arabia remains the largest trade partner for the Sudan in the region and the country has huge investments in the Sudan.
He referred to the reactivation of banking activities between the Sudan and Saudi Arabia and that this would facilitate trade exchange between the two sides.
The Saudi ambassador said the meeting with the minister comes within the framework of boosting and strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
