Participants in Khartoum International Award for Holy Quran Arrive in the Country

Khartoum, Jan. 7 (SUNA) - Participants in the 9th session of Khartoum International Award for Holly Quran have started to arrive in the country.
Participants from, Niger, Norway, Afghanistan, Chad, Cameroon, Libya, Thailand, Algeria, Sultanate of Oman and Yemen have already, arrived to take part in the final activities which scheduled to begin next, Tuesday, at the premises of the Holy Quran Society, including 71 competitor representing 51 country .
The Information Secretary of the Society, Maaz Al-Fateh has pointed out that the final activities which will be attended by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal, Omer Al-Basher will be held, at the Friendship Hall, affirming that all the arrangements are completed for launching the final day of the international competition .
He pointed out that the Award program includes intellectual and cultural movement represented in holding of a number symposiums which will be addressed by the Quest of the Award, Dr. Omer Abdul Kaffi who will present seven lectures in different places in Khartoum State .

Khartoum International Award for Holy Quran was established by Republican Decree No (160), in 2007 with the aim of giving great concern to education and spread of the Holy Quran .
