Khartoum, 22 Feb (SUNA)- The First Vice President, lt Gen Bakri Hassan Salih, will on Monday address the opening session of the Sudanese ambassadors conference to be held at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum
The Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Abdul Ghani Al Nayeem, said the conference brings all Sudanese ambassadors to Khartoum to discuss issues related to development and related questions as these issues are the key to resolving most challenges the Sudan faces
He said the conference will review means and ways to attract more investment to the Sudan, stressing that Sudan possesses all potential that would make of it an economic giant.
He said the conference will also discuss national security issues referring to the areas of conflict which impact the national security, saying Sudan is keen about boosting the regional security and peace.
He said another issues of importance to be reviewed by the conference is that of ties with the private sector and its involvement in these issues, saying the private sectors remains supportive for the government efforts in the investment endeavors.
He said the ambassadors will also discuss issues related to the Sudanese communities abroad and the consular work within the embassies.
