Dr. Ghazi Salahuddin: National Congress Parliamentary Group did not Take any Decision on oil agreement

Khartoum, August 6 (SUNA)- Chairman of the Parliamentary group of the National Congress, Dr. Ghazi Salahuddin, affirmed that the parliamentary authority did not take any decision concerning the agreement on the oil with south Sudan which was signed lately in Addis Ababa on the ground that the Parliament will take its decision on the agreement when it is presented at the Parliament as international agreement between Sudan and another state.

Dr. Ghazi denied what it has been reported by some newspapers that the National Congress parliamentary grouping or the parliamentary authority has decided in a" thorny" meeting its rejection to the recent agreement on oil with South Sudan

He said that the National Congress parliamentary group has not met to discuss this issue, saying that the meeting of Sunday was between the heads of the state's parliamentary authorities and heads of committees, but not the parliamentary authority.
