Dr. Nafie meets Government of Central Darfur State

Zalenge, June 21 (SUNA)- Assistant of the President, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, Thursday met with the government of the Central Darfur State in the presence of the Wali (governor) of the State, Eng. Yosuf Tibin.

The Assistant of the President presented a report to the meeting about the current political situation as well as the challenges and the recent economic measures and policies.

Dr. Nafie said that the economic measures were necessitated by certain circumstances, saying that the government is working to implement the package of policies announced by the President of the Republic and the Minister of Finance in order to surpass the current economic crisis.

He also called on the government of Central Darfur State to adhere to unity and to enhance the coordination in order to overcome the crisis, announcing that the National Congress Party will bear the biggest burden of decreasing the constitutional posts by a percentage of 70% - 80%.

The Wali of Central Darfur State, Eng. Yosuf Tibin, explained that the visit of the Assistant of the President to his State is a strong impetus and push to the State, affirming that his State would continue to implement projects that would achieve stability and development in the State.

It is to be noted that the Assistant of the President is accompanied by the Advisor of the President Al-Shartai Jaafar Abdul Hakam, the State Minister at the Ministry of Transport, Engineer Faisal Hamad and the General Coordinator of the National Service Abdul-Gadir Mohamed Zain.
