Vice-President acquainted with situations in Kassala State, gives directive for establishing free trade zone between Sudan and Eritrea

Khartoum, Aug. 6 (SUNA)- Vice-President of the Republic, Dr Al-Haj Adam, has got acquainted with the situation in the Kassala State and and progress of the agricultural season in the state.

Upon receiving the Wali (governor) of the Kassala State, Mohamed Yousif Adam, in his office at the Republican Plaace Monfay, the Vice-President gave directive for facilitating the procedures for establishment of a free trade zone between Sudan and Eritrea and to encourage the investments and exports.

The Wali of Kassala said after the meeting that the Vice-President also gave directive for supporting housing projects, stressing that the state is keen to provide electricity, water and health services for the people.
