UAE Ambassador commends distinguished UAE-Sudan relations

Khartoum, July 5 (SUNA)- The Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Sudan, Ambassador Hassan Ahmed Al-Shaihi, has lauded firmnass of the relations between UAE and Sudan.

Addressing a celebration organized by Al-Zubair Charity Foundation on occasion of distribution of the ' Basket of Ramadan' in collaboration with the UAE Red Crescent Society and Al-Sharjah Charity Society in the presence of the Vice-President, Al-Haj Adam Yousif, the UAE ambassador pointed out that the ties between the two countries are distinguished thanks to keenness of the leaderships of the two countries to establish firm relations as well as the coordination between the civil society organizations in Sudan and the UAE.

Ambassador Al-Shaihi has praised the remarkable role being played by Al-Zubair Charity Foundation that enabled it to gain the confidence of donors and supporters to projects and programs that it adopted.

The Secretary-General of Al-Zubair Charity Foundation, Ibrahim Abdul-Haleem, pointed to the achievements being made by the Foundation which, he said, crossed the national borders to reach Somalia, Algeria , Libya and other countries .
