North Darfur Commends UNESCO's Efforts

Al- Fashir, Apr. 2 (SUNA) The Minister of Education and Orientation of North Darfur state, Abdullah Musa Fadda, has commended the great works provided by the UNECO’s chair to Sudan in general and to Darfur in particular.

During his meeting with UNISCO’s office in Sudan delegation led by Mr. Babel Broken, the Office Director in al-Fashir, in the presence of Acting Director-General of the Ministry, Mohamed Ismail Daou Al-Baiet, the Director of the State Radio and Television Authority and the director of the Culture Department, the Minister of Education said that the state is relying heavily on UNESCO to implement more projects that promote services in various fields and that in touch with the people's lives.

The UNISCO’s director in Sudan, on his part, retreated his office commitment to provide the required needs for the linkage of the local communities, besides the localization of peace and mending of the social fabric, noting to the UNISCO’s concern with the partners to provide data base, indicating his office keenness to resume the projects of the society radio via the Italian aid.

The ministry’s Director General has reviewed the strategic projects that the ministry intends to implement represented in the concern with technology education, provision of the modern education means, in addition to the teachers training, considering teachers as the basic pillar in the spread of the message of the social peace and literacy projects.
