Ambassador Al-Zain Ibrahim Hussein presents his credentials to Equatorial Guinea’s President

Malabo, July 12 (SUNA) – The Ambassador Al-Zain Ibrahim Hussein has presented his credentials to President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Sudan, residing in Cameroon. The ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Head of the Transitional Military Council (TMC) Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan to the Equatorial Guinea President and the appreciation of the people and government of Sudan for the role of his country and his aspiration to build more advanced relations and implementation of the existing agreements in the fields of bilateral cooperation. He briefed President Mbasogo on the current developments in Sudan. President Mbasogo welcomed the ambassador at the Presidential Palace in Malabo, expressing his pleasure that Sudan, represented by the Transitional Military Council and the Forces of Freedom and Change Declaration, reached an agreement on the management of the transitional period. He said that his country has been following closely the internal crisis in Sudan and supports the positive efforts through the international platforms, particularly through its membership in the UN Security Council, referring to his country's desire in developing bilateral relations between the two countries.  The Ambassador also met with the Equatorial Guinea's Foreign Minister Simeón Oyono Esono and discussed ways of implementing the existing agreements.
