Foreign Minister Receives Resident Representative of UNDP

Khartoum, Sep. 15 (SUNA) – The Foreign Minister, Asma Mohamed Abdalla, received in her office Sunday the head of the UN Country Team, Coordinator of Humanitarian Aid and Resident Representative of the UN Development Program (UNDP), Ms. Gwi-Yeop Son, and appreciated the role of the UN agencies and programs operating in Sudan in boosting the stability of citizens at the dispute areas in Sudan.

The meeting has reviewed the arrangements for Sudan participation in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, scheduled by the end of current September.

The Resident UNDP Representative renewed the program commitment to extend aid to Sudan and to support the transition from the stage of aid delivering to the era of rehabilitation and development.
