Slovakia pledges to increase its investment and trade volume exchange with Sudan

Khartoum, October 21 (SUNA) - The Slovak Republic has affirmed its desire to strengthen economic and trade cooperation relations with Sudan and increase its investments and volume of trade exchange with Sudan in a number of vital areas and activities of joint interest. Speaking to Mr. Nader Emanuel, a member of the Board of Directors of the Chambers of Commerce and the Honorary Consul of Slovakia in Khartoum Nassr-Eddin Shalgamy, Dr. Madhini Dostal, Slovakia's Cairo- Resident’s Deputy Ambassador to Khartoum said that his country attached special importance to pushing forward cooperation relations with Sudan in various fields, especially trade and economy. Dostal stressed the desire of the Slovak private sector to engage into investment partnerships in a number of fields by benefiting from the economic resources in Sudan to achieve mutual interests, revealing the participation of a large delegation of Slovak companies in the Khartoum International Fair in next January, inviting Sudanese companies to participate in the Slovakia Agricultural Exhibition Next August to learn about modern agricultural techniques and Slovak expertise in the agricultural field. For his part, Emmanuel welcomed Slovakia's interest in expanding trade cooperation relations with Sudan, praising the successes of Slovak investments and its previous partnerships in Sudan, pointing out that there are various opportunities for the cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of machinery, equipment, mineral resources and processing industries to achieve value added in several fields.  Emmanuel called on the Slovak private sector to enter into investment partnerships with their Sudanese counterparts, inviting Slovak companies to participate in the Khartoum International Fair next January.
