SUST Vice-Chancellor announces SUST commitment to fund liquid soap industry project

Khartoum, February 13 (SUNA) - The Vice-Chancellor of the Sudan University of Science and Technology (SUST) Professor Awad Saad Hassan has announced that the university would adopt the financing of one of the productive projects represented in the manufacture of liquid soap. This came during his address to the concluding activities of the Entrepreneurial and Innovation Training Session entitled (Social Entrepreneurship and an Effective Citizen), organized by the SUST Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Thursday in collaboration with the British Council, under the patronage of SUST Vice-Chancellor, in the presence of the Director of the  Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center Dr. Tariq Mustafa Mohamed Idris, the representative of the British Council Dr. Mea’ad Al-Sharif and a group of attendees and trainees from the university staff. Professor Hassan stressed their belief in the importance of caring for entrepreneurship because it revitalizes the energies of youth and their explores talents and creativity, describing it as an investment in time and simple things, urging the need to establish small productive projects, stressing their unlimited support for such projects. Dr. Idris expressed his pleasure over the partnership and cooperation with the British Council in setting up workshops and forums on the status of entrepreneurship and development of youth productive projects, adding that the training session contributed greatly to raising the capabilities of the trainees and benefiting them a lot in various fields, particularly in the aspect of social business.  Dr. Idriss praised the role played by the British Council in the building skills and practical experience that will develop the capabilities of university employees. Dr. Mea’ad stressed the excellence and leadership of the Sudan University for Science and Technology in various social and scientific fields, pointing out that the training session is a good opportunity for knowledge exchange, praising session as the most outstanding among the institutions that the Council cooperated with.
