Federal Health: No cases of coronavirus in Sudan

Khartoum,  Feb. 13 (SUNA) The Federal Ministry of Health revealed the results of eight suspected cases of Corona virus, noting that the results of the analysis were negative, while the ministry raised the maximum degree of readiness to receive arrivals through Khartoum airport and the nine crossings, while a center was set up to receive students Coming from the Chinese city of Wuhan which  hit by the disease.

The Undersecretary of the Federal Ministry of Health, Dr. Sara Abdulathim outlined in a press conference held, Thursday, at the ministry, that no Cronavirus case , in Sudan, so far, referring that the Ministry , since the outbreak of the disease, in China, has set up a national coordinative committee including all the concerned parties.

The Health official indicated that the arrangements were completed to receive the Sudanese students coming from China through a joint committee includes Khartoum Airport authorities, the private sector and he Social Security Fund to prepare isolated center for the returnees.

Sarah revealed that the Khartoum airport was equipped with the necessary medical facilities including room for isolation and intensive care units, confirming the supply of more than 30 beds for health insulation along with laboratory equipment in Khartoum Teaching Hospital.
