Sudan receives 11 tons of UAE Medical Assistances

Khartoum, May.29 (SUNA) – Sudan, on Friday, received 11 tons of the medical assistances donated by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to curb the outbreak of the COVID-19 IN Sudan bringing the support extended by the UAE to Sudan to 18 tons since last April.

A UAE plane loaded with loaded with medical assistance to Sudan arrived in Khartoum Airport, Friday, and received by the Secretary General of the Sovereign Council, Lt-General, Mohammed Al-Ghali Ali, the UAE Ambassador to Sudan and a number of government senior officials.

The SC Secretary General, in press statement lauded Sudan-UAE relations, noting that the assistances represent the second batch of the support extended to Sudan by the UAE.

The UAE Ambassador said his country supports Sudan to prevent the pandemic which hit the world, referring that the assistances allocated to the front line medical cadres, COVID-19 patients and other segments.
