Khartoum, June.4 (SUNA) – The Transitional Prime Minister has attributed one of the reasons behind the delay of the trial of the leaderships of the defunct regime to the spread of the COVID-19.

Hamadouk said in an interview with Sudan National TV If the pandemic lasted for long time, these trials would be held in big courtrooms.

“We are in a democratic situation, and as an executive power, we have no control or effect on the Public Prosecution and the Judiciary because, they are independent bodies” He confirmed.

He expressed hope that the Attorney General will speed up the trial of the leaderships of the toppled regime.
