Tawer Concludes Visit to New Halfa City

Khartoum, Aug. 8 (SUNA) – A central delegation headed by the member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Prof. Siddiq Tawer, Saturday concluded a one-day visit to New Halfa city and returned to Khartoum after getting informed on the tribal events that happened lately in Village (10) at New Halfa area.

The delegation included the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Peace, Prof. Gumaa Kinda, the representative of the Ministry of Interior, Gen. (police) Al-Saddiq Ali Ibrahim, the representative of the Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change, Wagdi Salih, the representative of the Justice and Equality Movement, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Ushar, and the chieftain of Shukriya tribe, Ahmed Mohamed Hamad Abu-Sin.

The delegation has met during the visit with the Security Committee of Kassala State and received a report on the events and a memo of the village (10) committee, and assured the commitment to achieve justice.
