Al-Burhan heads to UAE today

Khartoum, Sept. 20 (SUNA)- President of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC) Lieutenant General Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan leaves today, Sunday, on a visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during which he is accompanied by a high-level ministerial delegation and a number of experts.

The TSC President holds during his two-day visit joint talks with the UAE’s leadership dealing with all regional issues that are related to Sudan.

The ministerial delegation accompanying Al-Burhan is to engage in direct talks led by the Minister of Justice, Naser-Eddin Abdelbari, and experts with a team from the American Administration, which is currently in UAE, on removal of name of Sudan from the list of states sponsoring terrorism, support of the transitional period and writing off American debts on Sudan and urge friendly countries to make serious steps in this connection.

The visit of the high-ranking government delegation to the UAE takes two tracks, the first with the UAE leadership and led by TSC President, while the second track is led by Minister of Justice Naser-Eddin Abdelbari with the American administration team.
