
Khartoum, May 30 (SUNA) - The Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General Abdel-Fattah Al Burhan paid a visit Tuesday to forces stationed in some locations in parts of the capital, Khartoum.
The Commander-in-Chief praised the people of Sudan for standing by the army despite their suffering for nearly two months. He reiterated that the army is fighting on behalf of its people and has not yet used its fatal full force, but may be forced to do so if the enemy refuses to obey or listen to the voice of reason.
General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan also stated that all the states and infantry divisions still have their full forces after securing control in every part of the country.
In regards to the extension of the ceasefire agreement, the commander stated that it was agreed upon to ease services to the people who have been exhausted by the violations of the rebel militia that looted their properties and violated their honours and tortured and killed without reason or conscience.
The Commander-in-Chief called on the people to not heed to what is being spread by the media of the rebel militia and their claims that their war is against the Keizan, questioning ‘where are the Keizan amongst these soldiers!’
In his concluding remarks, the commander asserted that the armed forces will be prepared to fight till victory and that the rebels will not be able to rule this country and that victory is without a doubt near.
