Khartoum, May 28 (SUNA) - The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the occasion of his victory in the Presidency's elections.
Al-Burhan said in his cable, "It gives me great pleasure to extend, in my name, and in the name of the government and people of the Republic of Sudan, my warmest congratulations to Your Excellency on your election as President of the sister Republic of Turkey." The TSC President expressed his confidence in Erdogan wise leadership to continue the Turish progress and leading role in the region. He added Sudan looked forward to working with the Republic of Turkey to boost bilateral relations in various fields.
Al-Burhan expressed hope that Erdogan new presidential term would witness more successes and achievements, and that the Turkish people would see progress and prosperity.
