The commander-in-chief of the armed forces has issued a decree appointing the following starting from 19th May, 2023:
1st Lt. Gen Shams Eldin Kabbashi Ibrahim Shantu, deputy to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces
1st Lt. Gen Yassir Abdelrahman Hassan Al Atta assistant to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces
Marine Lt. Gen Engineer Counsel Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim Karima, assistant to the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
