Khartoum, May 20 (SUNA) - The Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Hafiz Ibrahim Abdel-Nabi has affirmed continuation of the smooth export of live livestock through ports and crossings, in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Abdel Nabi explained that 7 ships were shipped to the port in the Red Sea from May 13-19, amounting to 101,750 live cattle, with a total of 3346 tons, in addition to 3 shipments at the crossings.

Abdel-Nabi said that all requirements for exports are available, pointing to the ease and completion of procedures in the Red Sea.

The issue was resumed on May 13 after a one-month hiatus due to the war in the country. BH/BH
