Khartoum, Dec. 2 (SUNA) – The batch (13) of Sudanese citizens returning from Libya, composed of 143 persons, arrived at Khartoum Airport Wednesday morning, as part of the efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sudan Embassy in Tripoli in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration to evacuate Sudanese citizens from Libya.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the mission in Tripoli coordinated and arranged with the International Organization for Migration, the Higher Committee for Health Emergencies and the federal Ministry of Health for the arrival of the batch to the homeland.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced (in a press release) that arrangements are currently underway to evacuate a new batch in mid-December, affirming its plan to evacuate all Sudanese wishing to return from Libya.

The ministry called on all Sudanese community members in Libya to contact the embassy in Tripoli directly, stating that its doors are open to receive them and supervise all the return procedures until their arrival in the homeland.
