Gedarif, Feb. 20 (SUNA) - A field team of the Western Gallabat Locality Police, in Gedarif State, has succeeded in liberating (21) victims of human trafficking of Ethiopian nationality in the Wad Daeef area.

In a statement to the Police Press Office, the Director of Gedarif State’s Police Forces, Maj. Gen. (police), Sabir Allajabu, said that the move came in the context of the continuous accomplishments and plans of the police forces in Gedarif State in combating cross-border crime in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces’ Headquarters to combat organized crimes.

Meanwhile, the Director of Western Gallabat Locality Police, Lt. Col. (police) said that the liberated Ethiopian human trafficking victims were 10 females and 11 males.
