Doha, April.8 (SUNA)  -  The Sudanese and Qatari sides co-chaired by the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and the Amir of Qatar, H.H. Sheikh, Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani held, today, joint talks, in the Amiri Dewan , in Doha in the presence of a number of ministers and officials of the two sides.

The session covered the development of the bilateral relations and means for promoting them further, besides the regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Al-Burhan, during the session affirmed Sudan’s keenness to strengthen the bilateral relations with Qatar in all fields, thanking the Qatari leadership for supporting Sudan.

He described the Sudanese-Qatari relations as strong, sincere and based on fraternity and love.

Al-Burhan said, "We are keen on the continuation of the strength of relations between our two countries after the change that took place in Sudan, indicating that the Sudanese state is currently going through a phase of construction in all aspects, especially the economic construction, and needs support of." Brothers and friends”

The Amir of Qatar, on his part, welcomed the visit, expressing pleasure over the level of bilateral relations between the two countries

The Emir of Qatar said despite the economic conditions that the world is going through, Qatar will continue to stand with Sudan and support it in all fields, and that its doors will remain open to the Sudanese.
