Khartoum, April20 (SUNA) -, The World Health Organization Official Responsible for Vaccination, Sudan Office, Dr. Hanan Al-Haj Abdo has, announced that nine Sudanese states have received the COVID-19 vaccination.
The WHO official speaking, Today evening, at SUNA Forum, that the states of Khartoum, Gezira, Shumaliya, Nahr El-Neil, West Kordofan, South Darfur, North Darfur, North Kordofan and the Red Sea have received their vaccination quotas.
She underlined that the vaccination campaign targets Those between the ages of 45 to 59 years of people with chronic diseases such as diabetes, kidney diseases, cancers and respiratory diseases, as well as people who suffer from immunodeficiency, in addition to people who use immunosuppressive water, the elderly over the age of sixty, in addition to health personnel.
The WHO official has affirmed her organization’s efforts to reduce the death toll among the elders and those of the chronic diseases, describing the vaccine as safe.
