Khartoum, May 1 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, congratulated in his facebook account the workers in Sudan and all over the world on the occasion of the Workers Day, appreciating the struggle of workers for the sake of achieving balanced work relationships and more fair social reality.

He said that the Workers Day celebration comes in a time when the coronavirus pandemic has aggravated the situation of our already exhausted countries and economies.

The Prime Minister has saluted the workers of Sudan with their various categories and sectors on the Workers Day, when they exert great efforts for the sake of their rights and just causes, affirming the endeavors of the government to bring about economic transformation, modernize the industrial and agricultural sectors in the country and to continue work for realizing comprehensive reform at the institutions and the economic and political systems.

He added that he government is fully aware that the workers' movement represents an important support and genuine partner for the efforts of the state and the different social forces, adding that Sudan's workers will be among the most important beneficiaries of the success of the historic transition.
