Khartoum, June 19 (SUNA) – The Director of Sudan Examination, Mahmoud Siral-Khatim Al-Houri, said that the Sudanese Certificate examinations are progressing smoothly and in an atmosphere of calmness.

He said in a statement to SUNA that according to the latest statistics conducted by his administration today (Saturday) morning, the number of students who sat for exams reached 522,356 students, of whom 2,000 were students sat abroad, and that the total number of examination centers reached 4,150, including 15 centers abroad.

Meanwhile, the member of the higher committee for monitoring the examinations, Samiya Al-Sheikh indicated in a statement to SUNA that the total number of students reached 157,755 male and female students in Khartoum state, including 83,741 female students and 67937 male students, noting that there are two emergency centers to deal with problems that may arise from registration and others.
