Khartoum, July 27 (SUNA) – The Director of the General Administration to Control the Epidemics of the Federal Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Hafeth Khider has outlined that his ministry works in extremely complicated conditions during the current rainfall season.

Dr. Khider presenting, Tuesday, at the Regular Forum if Sudan News Agency a report on the spread of COVID-19 during Jan.25 until July.25 has pointed out the spread of Delta variant in Sudan is not confirmed yet, adding that its spreading rapidly worldwide.

He called on the citizens to be committed to the health precautionary measures to avoid the pandemic outbreak; especially that Sudan is not well protected from it, indicating that Khartoum, Gezira, the Red Sea and the River Nile are the states that suffer the spread of disease, and Khartoum comes at the top list , in this connection.

He attributed the spread of the pandemic in Port Sudan and some areas in the Red Sea to the trade activities and the continuous movement.
