Khartoum, Sep. 11 (SUNA) – The Sudanese - Saudi Investment Forum will be held Khartoum on Sunday, September 12 and will last until September 13 with participation of the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul-Mohsen, and a number of Saudi businessmen and investors, besides the Sudanese ministers of the economic sector and development and the Businessmen Union.

 The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, said in a statement to SUNA that the forum comes as an extension of the meetings that took place in Saudi Arabia on the ways to benefit and actively participate with the Sudanese government on what Sudan will present to Saudi Arabia in the field of investment, especially that Sudan is rich with various resources and potentialities.

 He said that the forum aims to deliberate with the Saudi investors and to reflect the investment opportunities in all sectors of agriculture, livestock, minerals, oil - alternative energy and renewable energy, in addition to reactivating the partnership between the public and private sectors in the two countries and the relevant laws.

On his part, the Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Dr. Al-Hadi Mohamed Ibrahim, hoped that the forum will come out with comprehensive and complete plans to benefit from the resources that Sudan enjoys, indicating that the Sudanese - Saudi forum will be held on Sunday and Monday through bilateral discussions and meetings between official authorities and meetings between Sudanese and Saudi businessmen.
