Khartoum, Sept.13 (SUNA) - A plane loaded with Humanitarian assistance provided by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) to flood affected population arrived today at Khartoum airport from United Arab Emirates.

Emergency Administration Director at SRCS Hamad Gour pointed out that the humanitarian assistances are comprised of relief and shelter materials.

He added that SRCS would provide support to floods affected population throughout the country on behalf of IFRC.

The Representative of the International City in the Emirates, Jihad Zakaria Abdel Mawla, said that the plane was carrying 99 tons of non-food relief materials to cover nearly 20,000 persons affected by rains and floods in Sudan.
