Khartoum, Oct. 4 (SUNA) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, has affirmed has affirmed the keenness of Sudan to consolidate its relations and cooperation with Mauritania in all fields for the interest of the two peoples.

This came when he received Monday at the Republican Palace the credentials of the new Ambassador of Mauritania to Sudan, Mohamed Mahfouz Ould Yahia Al-Cheikh Al-Qadi.

In a press statement, the Ambassador of Mauritania expressed his pleasure to work in Sudan, affirmed his keenness to strengthen further the relations and cooperation between the two countries.

He said that Gen. Al-Burhan has stressed the importance of cementing the bilateral relations between Sudan and Mauritania, referring to the concern given by the President of Mauritania to consolidating the relations with Sudan.

The Ambassador of Mauritania indicated that he conveyed to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council the greetings best wishes of the President of Mauritania Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, to him and to the Sudanese people.
