Khartoum, Oct. 9 (SUNA) – The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Saturday received at the Republican Palace a delegation of the native administration in South Darfur State, headed by the chieftain Al-Toam Al-Hadi Dabaka, and discussed the current situation the and the ongoing efforts to address it.

In a press statement, the chieftain Dabaka said that the meeting touched on the situation in east Sudan and its repercussions on the overall situation in the country, indicating that the glorious December revolution came to achieve the slogans of freedom, peace and justice and to improve people's livelihood.

He indicated that the current living conditions necessitates that the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers to adopt urgent measures that contribute to providing decent living for the citizens.

Dabaka said that the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council has informed the delegation on the efforts being adopted by the state to solve the issue of east Sudan, and affirmed his keenness for stability and success of the transitional period towards achieving the aspired democratic transformation.
