Khartoum, Oct. 11 (SUNA) – The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, chaired on Monday a meeting on the security situation in the country, with participation of the Ministers of the Cabinet Affairs, Defence and Interior and the Director of Khartoum State’s Police Forces.

The meeting heard a detailed report on the security situation in the country and got assured on the containing of the events witnessed at Abu-Hamad in Nahral-Neil State, and Dogola in the Northern State and Al-Sanut in West Kordofan State and in Sennar.

The meeting also touched on the work done by the Supreme Council for Migration Policies at the Ministry of Interior in addressing the problems of illegal immigration related to terrorism, which has achieved great successes by controlling the entry and exit process in the country.
