Khartoum, Oct 20 (SUNA) - The Joint Office of Civil Governance Millioniyat (a million-person procession) to support Democratic Transition and Civil transformation has affirmed support to the civilian rule and democratic transition in Sudan.

The Office affirmed readiness to pay the democracy bill, calling for the completion of the comprehensive sustainable peace process with the participation of the real stakeholders in the direct negotiations, besides returning the Peace File to the Peace Commission under the auspices of the Council of Ministers.

The member of the Democratic Lawyers, Nasr Edeen addressing SUNA Forum today, called on the masses of the Sudanese people to be committed to the peaceful protest during Oct 21 processions in support of the civilian rule and the democratic transition, referring to their demand for extradition of the ousted president, Al-Bashir and his aides to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Office, further, called for adherence to the constitutional document to reform the justice system and the formation of the Constitutional Court.

 Concerning the security situations, it demanded focusing on the peace process, the protection of weapons collection camps, the protection of camps of the displaced and refugees and controlling security violations in all states of Sudan, improving the living situation.
