El Fasher, Nov. 27 (SUNA) - A delegation from the government of North Darfur State, headed by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, Mohamed Musa Yahya, inspected today in Mellit Locality the start of the flow of trade between the state and neighboring Libya, marking implementation of the border trade agreement signed by the state government With the Ministry of Trade last October.

Yahya said in plenary meeting with the Importers and Exporters Department, in the presence of the Executive Director of the locality, Suleiman Ali Bahr and local authorities, that the exchange of commercial convoys between the state and Libya would have a great positive effect on economic and social life  and contribute to opening new markets for national commodities, which will motivate producers to increase production and productivity, in addition to its contribution to providing basic commodities to citizens.

Yahya added that resumption of border trade with neighboring countries is of great interest to the state government in terms of contributing to the consolidation of bonds between peoples, stressing that the competent authorities of the state government will work with everyone in order to simplify procedures and remove all obstacles facing exporters.
