Kharoum, Dec 26 (SUNA) – Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok eulogized, on Sunday the South African human rights and the anti-apartheid activist and the fist blach bishop of the Evangelical Church, Desmond Turu who passed away yesterday.

Pope Desmond Mpelo Tutu was famous for his very strong anti-racism ideas and he was a lifelong advocate for equality between whites and blacks in South Africa, and supportive of working to solve the issues of the poor, imprisoned and despised, inspired by ideas from human rights advocate Martin Luther King.

The Prime Minister, while mourning the deceased, calls for his prayers to continue throughout Africa so that all the peoples of the continent enjoy peace, pride and dignity.
