Al- Geneina, Jan. 13 (SUNA) - The National Mine Action Center (NMAC) inaugurated, Yesterday evening, work in Krindag camps for the displaced in Al- Geneina, West Darfur State’s capital, as part of the center’s strategy to get rid of the remnants of war and make the state free of them, with the participation of the state government and the members of its Security Committee.

The Acting Governor of West Darfur, General Khamis Abdullah Abkar, affirmed cooperation with (NMAC) to reach a state free of remnants of war, calling for the need to expand the scope of the teams' campaigns to include other areas, appealing to the displaced to cooperate with working teams in order to achieve the desired goals.

the Director of the (NMAC), Radwan Al-Nour Nour Eddin, indicated readiness of the teams to reach the targeted areas using all technical devices and equipment to detect the war remnants.
