Khartoum, Jan. 17 (SUNA) – The acting Charge d’Affaires at Sudan Embassy in Budapest, Yasser Abdalla Osman Al-Sayed, has met with Deputy Minister of State for Foreign Economic Relations at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Stefan Yeo.

The meeting comes within the framework of the efforts made by Sudan Embassy in Budapest and its communication with a number of officials in the Hungarian government to support Sudan efforts to combat the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Acting Chargé d'Affaires expressed Sudanese government's thanks and appreciation to the friendly government of Hungary for its supportive stances to Sudan to confront the challenges of Covid 19 with the number of 200,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine at a cost of 356,000 euros and to bear all the logistical costs related to the arrival of the grant.

The acting Chargé d'Affaires affirmed that this cooperation reflects the firmness of the relations between the two friendly countries, reiterating Sudan keenness to strengthen further its relations with Hungary in all fields.
