Khartoum, May 23 (SUNA)- The Minister of Trade and Supply, Dr. Amal Salih Saad, is participating in the Forum for Support to Economic Integration between the Arab countries, that convenes under slogan of “Inter-Border Trade and the Role of Public and Private Sectors in this Regard”.

The forum is organized by the Pan-Arab Parliament and the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) during Monday, May 23 – Tuesday 25 May, under auspices of the Prime Minister of Egypt, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly.

The first sitting will be addressed by the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Asoumi, the General Director of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), Dr. Nasser Al-Hatlan Al Qahtani, and the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevine Gamea.

The first sitting of the forum witnesses participation of the Sudanese Minister of Trade and Supply, Dr. Amal Salih Saad, in addition to the Egyptian Minister of Finance, Dr. Mohamed Maait, the President of the International Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Abu- Ghazaleh Group, the Chairman of the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), Mohamed bin Obaid Al- Mazrooei, the Secretary General of Union of Arab Trade Chamber, Dr. Khaled Hanafy, and the former Director of the World Trade Organization Dr. Abdul-Hamid Mahmoud.

The conference complies with Arab countries’ endeavor to reach economic integration through a common Arab vision and to agree on serious work to enhance the volume of the inter-border trade, in a matter that help strengthening the economic and social ties among Arab countries, and to be an Arab approach to achieve the Arab countries’ aspirations for sustainable economic renaissance for their peoples and for coming generations.

The first sitting of the conference convenes under the motto: “the reality of the Arab free zone challenges and mechanisms and ways of development to reach to an Arab customs union”.
