Khartoum, May 23 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, Monday received at the Republican Palace the Ambassador of Egypt to Sudan, Hussam Eissa, and appreciated the Egypt's supportive stances for Sudan in regional and international forums, and its keenness to follow up the political events and developments that Sudan is witnessing.

Dr. Idris has praised firmness of the fraternal relations between the two countries and advanced stages reached in the joint developmental and strategic projects in the two countries.

Ambassador Hossam Eissa affirmed in a press statement Egypt's support for Sudan in all the political, humanitarian and development fields, and its full keenness for success of the transitional period in Sudan in a manner that achieves the interests, aspirations and aspirations of the people of Sudan, noting that the security and safety of Sudan and Egypt are indivisible.

He affirmed Egypt's support for full accord between all the political components in Sudan to achieve the goals of the revolution.

The Egyptian Ambassador stated that he briefed the member of the Sovereignty Council on progress of the implementation of development projects between the two countries, adding that the meeting was characterized by mutual understanding, transparency, frankness and friendliness.
