Al-Fasher, May 26 (SUNA) - Wali (Governor) of North Darfur State Nimir Mohamed Abdul-Rahman,  head of the delegation of the Joint Higher Military Committee for Security Arrangements Lt. Gen. Jumaa Mohamed Haqar , who is currently visiting Al-Fasher and the Commander of the Sixth Infantry Division, Maj. Gen. Zafer Omer Abdel-Gadir witnessed yesterday implementation of a training program for the forces of maintaining security in Darfur, which is currently being trained at Gadeed Al-Sael training camp affiliated to the Command of the Sixth Infantry Division.

The training of the force came as part of implementation of the security arrangements clause stipulated by the Juba Agreement on Peace in Sudan.

Nimir addressed the trainee force, congratulating it on the near completion of its training program, in preparation for celebrating its graduation in the coming days so that it can engage in its mission of maintaining security, stability and peace in Darfur.

On his part, the head of the delegation of the Joint Higher Military Committee for Security Arrangements, Lt. Gen. Haqar, expressed their happiness at attending the conclusion of the training program for the force for maintaining security in Darfur.

He also indicated that this group of security forces in Darfur will represent an important addition to the Armed Forces in guaranteeing the safety and the future of Sudan.

The Commander of the Sixth Infantry Division, Maj. Gen. Abdul- Gadir, on his part, expressed pleasure on completion of the force's readiness for graduation, saying they will work collectively under the banner of one institution whose mission is to protect Sudan, adding that the immediate mission of this force is to fight criminals and outlaws and establish security in all Darfur states.
