
Kosti, May 27(SUNA)-Advisor of President of South Sudan for Securizty Affairs, Tott Galuak and Head of the Military Intelligence, Maj. Gen. Mohamed Ali Ahmed Sebaira accompanied members of the technical committee on facilitating trade movement between Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan paid today a visit to the White Nile State.
They were received by the acting Wali(governor) of the White Nile State,Omer Al-Khalifa Abdalla and members of the State’ security committee.
The delegation got acquainted with arrangements being made at crossings, river ports and Kosti dry port as well as readiness of the river transport vessels for transporting commodities and oil products to South Sudan.
Galuak indicated to the presidential directives on resuming work at river transport and the dry port for transporting the needs of the South Sudan
Galuak called on businessmen in the two countries to transport their commodities through the White Nile river , commending efforts made by government of the White Nile State to resume trade movement with the South Sudan.
The Wali of the White Nile State, for his part, described visit of the technical committee as distinguished and serves interest of the two countries, adding that the delegation has inspected the dry port and the river transport vessels for bringing the presidential directives into reality.
