Khartoum, June 15 (SUNA) -The members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Al-Taher Abu-Bakr Hajar and Raja Nichola Wednesday paid inspection visit to the headquarters of the Sudanese Telecommunication Company (Sudatel) and got informed on its performance and the progress it is witnessing, especially in the field of the services and projects that it provides to serve the community, in addition to the challenges it is facing.

The meeting was attended by the acting Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, Adel Hassan Mohamed Al-Hussein, and the Executive Director and General Director of the company, Engineer Magdi Mohamed Abdalla, and leaders and managers of the sectors.

The Executive Director and General Manager of the company said in a press statement that work at the company is witnessing progress to keep pace with the advancement witnessed in the world in the field of communications, pointing to the challenges that the company is facing.

Engineer Magdi has called on the government to support the company to overcome the obstacles it faces, affirming the importance of training to keep pace with the progress in the field of communications.

He said that the two members of the Sovereignty Council promised to address all challenges facing the company's performance.
